Early Childhood Education (Kindergarten)
LICS believes that the foundation of learning is best nurtured through play-based learning, inspired by the Finnish education model, which emphasizes curiosity, exploration, creativity, and social development. A play-based approach develops the whole child cognitively, emotionally, socially, and physically, providing a strong foundation for lifelong learning.
The kindergarten program is divided into four levels:
• Toddler (2.5 years old)
• Happy Lamb (3–4 years old)
• Shining Lamb (4–5 years old)
• Brave Lamb (5–6 years old)
Each class is limited to a maximum of 15 students, with 1 teacher and 1 teaching assistant, ensuring personalized learning, individualized attention, and nurturing care.
Green Campus Environment
At LICS, we believe that young children learn best when they are connected with nature. Our green campus provides a safe, healthy, and stimulating environment where children can explore, play, and grow.
Regular interaction with outdoor spaces supports the development of:
• Gross Motor Skills through running, climbing, balancing, and active play.
• Fine Motor Skills through hands-on exploration, gardening, building, and creative activities.
• Executive Function (EF) by strengthening focus, self-control, problem-solving, planning, and decision-making skills.
• Emotional Intelligence (EQ) by fostering empathy, cooperation, resilience, and positive social relationships.
• Intellectual Development (IQ) through inquiry-based learning, observation, creativity, and critical thinking.
• Strong Physical Health by encouraging daily movement, outdoor activity, fresh air, and healthy lifestyle habits.
Our green campus provides opportunities for water play, gardening, outdoor learning, and nature exploration, helping children develop gross and fine motor skills, Executive Function (EF), Emotional Intelligence (EQ), intellectual growth (IQ), creativity, and strong physical health through hands-on learning experiences.
English as a Second Language (ESL)
At LICS, we follow the natural sequence of language learning:
Listening → Speaking → Reading → Writing.
Students acquire English naturally through daily classroom interactions, play-based learning, school activities, songs, stories, projects, and meaningful communication. By building confidence in listening and speaking first, students develop a strong foundation before progressing to reading and writing, leading to lasting English fluency.
Primary Level (Grade 1-5)
At the primary level, LICS provides a balanced program that combines strong academics with future-oriented skills.
The Future Skills Curriculum
Designed to nurture 21st-century skills through active and creative learning. Students are grouped by grade level to ensure age-appropriate learning experiences. Subjects and activities may vary by year to meet student needs and global trends; while some subjects may be rotated or removed, new ones may also be introduced. Key focus areas include Project-Based Learning, Leadership Class, Arts and Music, entrepreneurship and innovation, Robotics, Creative Writing, Thai and Chinese Languages, Science Lab, Physical Education, Etc.
Academic Skills Curriculum
Students study the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) curriculum, an individualized, mastery-based international program from the United States that develops academic excellence, goal-setting skills, self-discipline, responsibility, and independent learning.
Singapore Mathematics is integrated to strengthen conceptual understanding, problem-solving, and mathematical reasoning. To support children's developmental stages and maximize academic focus, the morning program emphasizes core academic learning in a structured and nurturing environment.
Middle School Level (Grade 6-8)
Middle school at LICS is designed to guide students through the critical transition years from childhood to adolescence, equipping them with strong academics, future-ready skills, and character development.
The Future Skills Curriculum
The Future Skills Curriculum builds on primary foundations, preparing students for advanced study and leadership roles. Students are grouped by grade level, and subjects may be adjusted each year to match student needs. Core focus areas include Project-Based Learning, Leadership Development and Public Speaking, Debate and Critical Thinking, Robotics, and STEAM Innovation, Entrepreneurship through the Venture Lab, Arts and Music for creative expression, Advanced Writing and Global English Communication, Thai and Chinese Languages for cultural literacy, Science Research Lab Project, Physical Education, Etc.
Middle school students actively participate in the Regional Student Convention (RSC), where they showcase their talents in academics, arts, sports, leadership, and spiritual growth. These opportunities help students discover their potential, build confidence, and represent the school at a higher level.
The Academic Skills Curriculum
Students continue with the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) curriculum from the USA, which emphasizes individualized, mastery-based learning. The program strengthens core subjects—English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies—while also fostering responsibility, independent study habits, and self-motivation.
High School Level (Grade 9-12)
High school at LICS prepares students for university, career pathways, and lifelong success. The program equips students with advanced academic knowledge, leadership skills, and practical experiences.
The Future Skills Curriculum
The Future Skills Curriculum becomes more specialized, focusing on preparing students for higher education, entrepreneurship, and global citizenship. Students are grouped by grade level, and subjects are adapted yearly to meet emerging needs and interests. Core areas include Research and Academic Writing, Leadership and Debate, Global English Communication and Public Speaking,Entrepreneurship and Business Innovation (Venture Lab), Robotics, Programming, and AI Foundations, Arts and Music, College and Career Readiness (SAT, IELTS, AP, Portfolio Development), Thai and Chinese Languages for bilingual and cultural competence, Science Research Lab Project, Physical Education, Etc.

At this level, the ACE curriculum emphasizes higher-order thinking, advanced English literacy, mathematics, sciences, and social studies, alongside strong moral and character development.
In addition, students have the opportunity to enroll in Advanced Placement (AP) courses, providing university-level academic challenges and the chance to earn college credit.
AP courses help students strengthen their academic portfolio and prepare for competitive international university admissions.
Ballet Class for Girls
LICS Kindergarten girls participate in weekly ballet classes that develop balance, coordination, posture, discipline, creativity, and self-confidence in a joyful and nurturing environment.
Football Class for Boys
LICS Kindergarten boys participate in football classes that develop coordination, balance, teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, and a love for physical activity in a fun and encouraging environment.
